University of St. Francis failed to put anyone in double figures in the scoring column in netting a season-low 51 points as the Saints dropped their third decision in a row Wednesday night, falling to Lake Forest College, 76-51.

It marked the first time this season that no USF player tallied at least 10 points as the Saints slipped to 8-6 on the season, while the Foresters improved to 8-1.

Lake Forest led from beginning to end opening up as big as a 16-point lead in the first half before settling for a 36-24 lead at the break.

The Saints did pull within 10 points four separate times early in the second half before the hosts, using a 60 percent field goal reading after the break, extended the lead into the 20-point range midway through the closing half and led by as many as 26 points in the late going.

Four different Lake Forest players authored no less than 11 points led by Brian Madson's 17 points off the bench. Travis Clark also registered a double-double with his 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Sophomore guard Andrew Lerg (DeWitt H.S./DeWitt, MI) and senior guard Chris Elder (Bowen H.S./Chicago, IL) each registered eight points for the Saints, who were outrebounded, 41-22.

St. Francis looks to get back on track Saturday when it hosts Silver Lake College at 3 p.m.
