The Illinois Basketball Coaches Assocation (IBCA) has announced the newest inductees into the IBCA Hall of Fame, and the 2012 class includes former Lewis University standout Jaron McCracken.

McCracken, along with his fellow inductees, will be honored on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Union Ballroom at Illinois State University.

McCracken, who competed for the Flyers from 1997-99, averaged 8.5 points-per-game, while shooting a blistering 39.2% (96-for-245) from three-point range.

As a prep, McCracken was an IBCA All-State First Team selection and Conference Player of the Year as a senior. In 1996-97 McCracken averaged 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists to lead Amboy to the regional championship. McCracken left Amboy as the school's all-time leader in points scored and assists.

The Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame consists of six categories: players, coaches, news media, officials, friends of basketball and teams.
